The Wonderful Medicine

As I look out my front window I notice so many different colors forming so many different shapes; With the windows open at night you can here the swish of the wind blowing those colors around and around. The colors I am talking about are a wonderful sign that God is in control. One might ask how do you see things that way? A quick answer is " you have no idea what God has done for me and how he has spared me". Fall is here and the seasons are changing. This is just but the blessing that God shows us that, He, almighty has everything under control in the palm of His hand. It is so hard to think what it would be like not to believe in God and to think everything happens because of some "bang theory". I would not know what to do if I could not talk to God everyday and He would not talk to me. From the fall chilly air that makes room for the colder wintry nights where the winds just rip through you sending cold tingling feelings so deep in your bones and then one night comes the snow, and how it comes, the weatherman might say one inch and you wake up in the morning with six inches. He does not know, only God knows. We bundle up and it does not matter how old we are when there is snow on the ground, somehow, everyone can smile and throw that snowball at each other. Could God have planned this season so perfect that this medicine the "snow" can somehow make everything well? From fall to winter things do change but if you can remember the next time that you are looking at children playing in the snow, you will see that a smile of joy will overcome you and this medicine has done its job once again.

The "Molting" process of an Eagle

Truth or Myth?

You Decide By Reading Deeper

Into God's Word

There are many different ways that Isaiah 40:31 can be interpreted. Some believe that it is because of the "molting" process of an Eagle that Isaiah was inspired to write this verse by God's Spirit. The way the Word is written and gave to man is called "God Breathe." This is not actually how the "molting" process of an Eagle takes place that is listed below. I encourage you to find out how the scripture speaks to you.

Eagleswings Ministries does not take this stand on the issue of the interpretation but you may visit other websites on the Eagle both secular and spiritual to find in your heart what you choose to believe.

The Eagle is one of the most majestic birds on the face of the planet. But something happens to all Eagles at least once in their lifetime, and sometimes two or three times. They "molt."

In the life of every Eagle  he will go through a "molting" process that can bring with it a great depression because of the trial of his faith. This is a wilderness time that all Eagles will face. Certain Eagles live for about 30 years but then they begin to lose their feathers, beak and talons. (Is this a myth?, please check for yourself). During this time, the Eagle will walk like a "turkey." He has no strength to fly. The "molting" Eagle finds himself in the valley, unable to fly, feathers falling out. They lose their ability to see, as their vision weakens during this time. (when as Christians are we blind?)They pick up a rank odor, and stink, (many of us can stink concerning our Christian walk). Calcium builds up on their beaks and they cannot hold their heads up, to be the proud majestic birds that they truly are. They lose their desire to eat because they only eat fresh kill, but then another phenomena (??????) takes place. When the "molting" Eagle gets in this last state, they are believed to gather together in one place. (why do they gather together in one place? In through out the old testament we see that God's people were gathered in one place and was in excile).

At this time they will choose some area of a mountain range where the sun can shine directly on them, and they will lie on a rock and bathe in the sun. At this time the eagle will congregate with others who are in the same condition (misery loves company!!!!). The "molting" Eagles understand what is happening to them. (or do they truely understand?) They will scratch their talons down to the nubs and knock their beak off to rid themselves of the calcium deposit build up, after that they have pulled out all their feathers. They become completely vulnerable and many eagles die at this point.

During this time some, (who is some? Those who are prayer warriors), have observed Eagles coming and dropping food to the ones going through this "molting" stage. Yet it is never the younger Eagles that are dropping the food, (they younger are feeding on the milk and not the meat of the Word, Spiritual speaking), it is always the older Eagles that have survived this experience and know what the "molting" Eagle is going through.  If they don't renew, they will die. They grow weaker and weaker. Suddenly there comes a sound from the sky over the valley of "molting" Eagles. "Screaming loudly," another group of Eagles fly overhead and drop fresh, (we all need the freshness of God and His Word, Who is Jesus Christ), kill over the dying birds. The screaming is encouragement ( do we encourage our fellow Christians when they go through problems?), Eat and live, you'll fly again! Some eat and recover but others roll over and die.

There is a certain point in the life of an overcoming Christian where there is a "molting" stage and it looks as though and feels as though we have been stripped down to nothing. Many Christians draw back at this point. They give up and "throw in the towel" and just quit. But if you will just keep moving into your destiny at this point, you will find that the Lord is waiting for you. You must find the Rock of Ages (the Kingdom Cornerstone) and lie on it to bathe in the "Son Light" and be renewed like an Eagle. After a waiting period his feathers, beak, and talons grow back, and the Eagle soars again with greater strength than ever before! (This is the promise of God that he will never leave nor for sake us). It is believed that when an Eagle finally dies, that they die on a rock, facing the sun. We must finish the race and know that when we do die we will face the SON and He will say good work good and faithful servant on that day when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess Jesus Christ is Lord!!!!

This is not the over all views of the story of the so called "Myth" of the "Molting" Eagle. Although Science demands concrete evidence where we as Christians can not, we throw faith out the window by not relying on the true Living God-

(The above paragraph does not accuratly show the views of Eagleswings Ministries)

Romans 10: 17.  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

-- Faith without works is dead---

James 2: 17.  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
 18.  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
 19.  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
 20.  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
 21.  Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
 22.  Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
 23.  And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
 24.  Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
 25.  Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
 26.  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

We must have faith that when we go through these trials that God will be with us, by talking to him and reading His Word and that He has promised to send the "comforter" to help us!!! (THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!)
